About
Maya is a Canadian writer, editor, and visual artist.Maya received her MFA in Poetry from the University of St. Thomas (TX), a B.A. in English Literature & Rhetoric from St. Jerome's University at the University of Waterloo, and a Diploma in the History of European Painting from Trinity College Dublin.Her poems have recently appeared in Rattle, Literary Matters, The Literary Review of Canada, The New Verse Review, and THINK, among others.Maya's chapbook Life Cycle of a Mayfly won the 2023 Vallum Chapbook Award.
